As someone who started his career with Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) back in 2018, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication and effort that goes into ensuring our national carrier operates with the highest safety and quality standards. Recent challenges—flight delays, technical difficulties, and workforce shortages—have spotlighted MAB. But it’s important to remember that these struggles aren’t unique, especially with the entire aviation industry facing a skilled talent drain. What sets MAB apart is its role as our flag carrier, representing Malaysia globally. Due to its government-linked status, MAB faces immense pressure, yet its team's commitment to delivering top-notch service remains unwavering. Now more than ever, it’s time for us to rally behind MAB. The airline is at a critical juncture where reassessing compensation for technical crews could help retain much-needed talent, especially in light of higher offers from other regions. Competitive pay structures are vital to ensuring the airline remains resilient and continues to meet the high standards that make us proud.Let’s support the hardworking teams at MAB who strive daily to keep the skies safe for all of us. Together, we can help Malaysia Airlines navigate these turbulent times and keep soaring high as a symbol of national pride.#MalaysiaAirlines #NationalPride #WithYouMAB #TalentRetention #AviationSafety

Firstly, Malaysia is a Premium Full Service National Carrier. Second, Malaysia Airlines should concentrate on targeting the 20% Malaysian Citizens who choose to fly on Full Service Carriers. Third, a good CEO's contract should be extended until a new replacement can be found. A senior leader should be given adequate opportunity, to impart his wisdom to the successor. And finally, If the successor cannot be found locally, foreigners should be considered for the top post.

Malaysia Airlines is perhaps the only Malaysian brand that I will always have a soft spot ever since as an infant when our family was posted to London, when I was a third culture teenager commuting London, KL, and Tokyo, and as an adult traversing over the south china sea for work. This airline went through a double tragedy with MH370 and MH17, and perhaps the most detrimental was the series of management decisions that caused this company to be unprofitable and lost its lustre as a national carrier. But with their return to profitability, new fleet and products, plus being on the top 10 Skytrax cabin crew award is a good sign of progress for this national carrier.Without the deep pockets of the middle eastern airlines, it still can be the comeback story of the century where MH can once again claim its top spot and be profitable by itself.Yes, I know SQ, Qatar, and whatever have better fleets and products but it's really up to you to fly with whatever you like. But you can never get the same Malaysian hospitality, satay, and that warm fuzzy feeling after a long flight when you hear "for Malaysians, welcome home".#turnaround #MalaysiaAirlines #aviation

#Aviation #Simplify #Suggestion #Streamline Qatar Airways Malaysia Airlines Singapore Airlines IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Vistara - TATA SIA Airlines Ltd. In my past few travels with your airlines, I have shared a suggestion and feedback to streamline the onboarding and off boarding flights! Instead of doing Group or Zone wise onboarding, try and experiment in order of Window Seats followed by middle and then aisle seats. During off boarding it should be the reverse order. The only exception can be families traveling with kids less than 7-8 years or require special assistance.

This is an interesting move because it had become confusing and inefficient to have two state-owned operators in parallel in the same country.Next question, does it open the door to foreign operators to fully or partly manage Indonesian airports?Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Asian Insiders #airports #jv #marketentry

🌟 BBN Airlines Indonesia acquires its second AOC! 🛫With the securing of an additional Air Operator Certificate, our subsidiary company, BBN Airlines Indonesia continues to solidify its position in the growing Jet Services market in South East Asia Charter. This news comes hot on the heels of the company's acquisition of 4 Boeing 737s. Alongside the new planes, this additional certification puts BBN Airline Indonesia on the path to meet the huge demand for flights, especially during major holidays such as Eid al-Fitr, and the peak holiday season in Indonesia. This is all part of the strategic expansion of Avia Solutions Group in the Asia-Pacific region, where we continue to focus significant investment.
