Danny Jones' wife breaks silence on 'difficult situations' after Maura 'kiss' (2025)

The former Miss England has returned to host her podcast for the first time since McFly star Danny was caught in a cheating scandal

Georgia Jones has broken her silence as she returned to host her podcast for the first time since her husband Danny Jones' 'kiss' with Maura Higgins. The former Miss England, 38, has been absent from her Mum's the Word podcast with Kelsey Parker ever since the kissing scandal emerged between the two I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here co-stars.

During the BRIT Awards 2025 after-party on March 1, Danny and Maura reportedly partied together until 6am. Reports then broke the night after the awards claiming that the McFly star, 39, had cheated on his wife after a video circulated online appearing to show him kissing his former campmate Maura.

Two weeks later, the I'm A Celebrity winner then shared a statement to his Instagram Story to address the speculation. In a typed-out message, Danny wrote: "Hello everyone. Sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

"I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately.

"I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding and support. See you all soon, Danny."

After seemingly taking a 'step back' from the limelight since the scandal emerged, Georgia was then pictured for first time last week after her husband's public apology as she headed back to work.

The model and mum-of-one was seen leaving a recording studio in London with her older sister after recording her highly anticipated podcast.

Co-hosted with the late Tom Parker's wife Kelsey, the podcast shares candid conversations about motherhood, and has since continued with Kelsey hosting alone.

But in the latest episode released today (April 7), Georgia has returned to her hosting duties for the first time, where she is joined by the hosts of the Secret Life of Dads podcast, Matt Carter and Lawrence Price.

In the episode titled 'Post-natal depression as dads and navigating difficult situations as men', the mum speaks to the presenters about their experiences and challenges as dads as well as the importance of seeking support.

Despite fans eagerly awaiting her to address her husband's 'kiss' with his co-star, Georgia avoided the elephant in the room as she opened the show, and got straight into the topic with her podcast guests.

Speaking about her own experience with postnatal depression, Georgia admitted: "I had it as well but I didn't know, I knew I felt a certain way and I felt s**t that I felt that way, and I felt like a terrible mother, an absolute failure, and it's only afterwards that I went 'oh, I think I might have had that."

Georgia later discussed how dads should open up more to their friends to make sure they're okay. "That's the thing with social media, you can make it look like you're having a bloody whale of a time when behind closed doors it might just be a completely different story," she said.

She then stated: "It's like today, we're recording on Valentine's Day and I'm seeing all of these posts and I'm like 'are you that happy though?''".

During the podcast, the Secret Life of Dads hosts revealed: "There is actually new research out that suggests that the more photos you take with your partner, the less in love that you are."

To which Georgia then responded: "Interesting."
